Skills I Have Learnt

1. List 5 skills you have learnt so far

  • Learning about aperture and shutter speed.
  • How to capture a good image using these two settings.
  • The positioning of objects in the Depth of Field.
  • Using the camera in manual.
  • Manipulating settings on the camera.
2. Discuss one area you are struggling with (5 lines)
One area I need to improve on is manipulating the shutter speed and aperture to capture a good photo that is moving or stationary. I am struggling with this area because I am finding it hard to change the aperture to the right amount to keep the lighting nice and ready for the picture. This is making it hard to take a well balanced photo that the audience will like and enjoy. To help do these things in the future, I want to find out more about this area, so that in the future I can take better photos.

I took this photo in school.

Nature

This image is my favourite because it captures the dark plants in the foreground contrasting to the light, blue sky in the background, which gives this picture a nice feel of disparity between the two main components in the picture. To take this photo I needed to adjust the shutter speed and the aperture just right so that the image could be a beautiful balance between the brightness and focuses.

Growing

I really like this photo because it captures these flowers blossoming in spring. This photo gives me a warmth feeling that life is like a flower, it will grow and grow and will turn into a beautiful thing.

Welcome to my Blog

I chose photography as my subject because just recently i took up an interest in taking photos. I wanted to take the opportunity to learn about how a camera works and the best way to capture the surroundings that i want to. This is briefly why i took up this subject.
