Max Dupain's image, 'The Jetty', is a beautiful photo that uses light in an interesting way to create different interpretations. Lighting is used in this photo between the contrast of the sky and dark water which leaves us in awe. The objects that are on the jetty have been placed very carefully and thoughtfully to aid in the construction of this image. Max Dupain has achieved an excellent image also by the use of shadows that are on the wharf, which are 'leading lines' towards the horizon.
